RPMS is continuing to provide assistance in 2012 to Goondiwindi Regional Council as they rebuild roads following flood events in 2010 and 2011. Works on the M1 Channel Widening got underway this week working around the heat and the wet weather. RPMS Site Supervisor Stephen O’Toole is currenlty supervising two NDC Excavators working on topsoil removal and desilting. With recent rainfall in our market areas the ground is saturated and prone to rising flood waters following rain. The long range forecast for the next month is showing High Chance of rainfall most days, so please be careful when driving out on roads over the Christmas Break.
